Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect the information shown in the comment form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help detect spam.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may be able to download images and extract that data.
Cookies
The site may use cookies to support account login, security, and site functions. For example, a temporary cookie may check whether your browser accepts cookies. If you log in, cookies may keep you signed in and save display preferences. Login cookies may last for two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember Me”; display preference cookies may last for a year.
If you leave a comment, you may be offered the option to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. If you edit or publish an article, a cookie may record the post ID; it does not contain personal information and expires after one day.
LinkedIn-assisted registration may use temporary cookies to complete the registration process. Our chat and event payment services may also use cookies or similar technologies when you use those features or make a purchase.
Embedded content from other websites
The site may include content or services from other websites, including chat and LinkedIn sign-in. Embedded content and external services may collect data about you, use cookies, or track your interaction as though you had visited their websites directly. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
Who we share your data with
We use Hostinger to host the website. If you choose LinkedIn-assisted registration, information is exchanged with LinkedIn to authenticate you and retrieve the profile details needed for registration. If you use our chat service, your information may be processed by Minnit.
Event registrations and purchases are handled through our event and payment services. If you pay for an event, payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not recommend sending payment details to us directly.
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
We retain account information for as long as your account remains active, unless it needs to be kept longer for security, administrative, or legal reasons. You can request that we delete your account and personal information, subject to information we are required or permitted to retain.
Comments and their metadata may be retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized and moderated.
Messages, forum posts, event registrations, and related records may remain on the site while needed to provide community features and maintain records of discussions or events. Purchase and transaction records may be retained as needed for accounting, administrative, security, or legal purposes.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request correction or deletion of your personal data, subject to information we need to keep for administrative, security, or legal purposes.

Where your data is sent
We are not currently using a separate analytics, cookie-consent, or CAPTCHA service.
Data may be processed by Hostinger, LinkedIn, Minnit, and our event and payment services as described above.
