Community Code of Conduct

Respectful Communication

All members are expected to treat others with respect and professionalism, regardless of their background, opinions, experience, or role in the community.

Personal attacks, insults, harassment, intimidation, humiliation, discriminatory remarks, and deliberately disrespectful behavior are not acceptable.

Equal Standards for Everyone

These rules apply equally to all community members, organizers, administrators, and founders. No individual is exempt from the Code of Conduct because of their role or seniority.

Handling Violations

Violations will be assessed based on their severity, context, and available evidence.

Depending on the circumstances, consequences may include a warning, temporary suspension, or removal from the community. Serious misconduct, including harassment, threats, or severe personal attacks, may result in immediate removal.

Repeated violations after a warning may result in removal from the community.

Fair and Consistent Enforcement

Reports of misconduct will be reviewed objectively. Wherever possible, decisions will be made by organizers who are not directly involved in the incident.

Members will have an opportunity to provide relevant context before a decision is made, except where immediate protective action is necessary.

Community Participation

Continued participation in Persian Techies is conditional on respecting this Code of Conduct. Organizers are responsible for applying these standards consistently and protecting the community’s members and its respectful, inclusive environment.
